Hello Caitlyn

Where do I begin, well let’s start at the beginning. Most of us probably would not have the courage to do what Bruce/Caitlyn did. I don’t pretend to know what it must feel like living with this secret. However imagine how strongly one would have to feel to reveal this secret. Risking family, friends, potentially ending your world, wow, it’s a big deal so why do it? Self preservation kicks in sometimes, one day enough is just enough. Each day we let our insecurities, our fears, our plain sense of obligation rule us. We think that we should just tow the line and things will all be better. Are we really doing ourselves justice though? At the end of the day we are who we are. Trying to change our true self for whatever reason is the most painful thing we can do. Not being you is not living. Pretending is not living. The question to be asked when we look back is what kind of life would you have wanted to live?
